St. Peter's Catholic High School & Sixth Form College

                           Stroud Road, Tuffley, Gloucester, GL4 0DD. Tel: 01452 520594

The School was established in 1964.  Since then the School has had only two Headteachers. Mr John Parkinson who left in 1964 - 1984, and succeeding Mr. Parkinson - Mr Lawrence Montagu, BA, OBE.

The mission of our school is to provide a rigorous and broad education within the context of a Christian environment. An understanding of the Roman Catholic faith, in line with the Gospel message, will underpin the whole work of the school.

St Peter's is not a sectarian school. There is a significant minority of non-Roman Catholic pupils whose parents want them educated in a way which includes an explicit regard for spirituality. We have welcomed Christian pupils from many other denominations as well as those from the eastern orthodox churches, and also members of both the Jewish and the Islamic faiths

The main aim will be to develop the self-esteem, dignity and respect of all members of the community by concentrating on each person's infinite worth in the eyes of God.
